Ethan's out of school, swim lessons are going on, which means summer is finally here. Yippee!!!
^^Of course our son was the one who volunteered to feed the llama with his mouth on a camp field trip.;)^^

let's start this summer right...
Jeff and I thought it was about time we had some friends over for a beginning of summer/house warming party. We've been living here almost a year so it was about time.
However when I throw a party I tend to go slightly overboard. You can check out the decorations below and some of the desserts. Ethan could not decide on one so we ended up making rice krispy watermelon treats and ice cream cone cup cakes. Both the kids and the parents loved them!

let the summer begin..
Even though its a rainy day in the Pacific Northwest it's still the first day of summer. Looking forward to swimming, Popsicle's, bike rides, BBQ, and everything this season has to offer.
^^ethan is finally able to swim. yipee!^^

caps and gowns...
Ethan's daycare had their end of school year graduation this past week and we could not have been more proud of him. We have had such a great experience at his daycare the past few years but are excited for him to start his new school in the fall. (And so is he.)

summer ramblings...
Nothing gets me in the mood for summer like a frosty root beer float. Did I mention we live about five miles from a root beer store that has over a hundred bottles? I'm in heaven!

reaching new heights. ..
Ethan's first year of school is ending next week and then its summer camp at the daycare before starting kindergarten at Evergreen Academy in the fall. He had his final PE class today and scaled the rock wall. So proud of that boy!
