Some friends of ours invited us to crash with them for the weekend at a beach cottage in Sea Brook, WA. It was a lovely getaway away from the city life to a much slower pace. Well, staying with a six year old nothing is really slow but we all feel a little more relaxed which is funny because we rented a house called 'Otterly Relaxed', go figure.
The weather thankfully cooperated for most of the time and we were able to enjoy a few nights around the campfire roasting smores (yum), having an outdoor moving night which we introduced Ethan to the Three Stooges (which he loved), and some fabulous wine thrown in. And for the one rainy day we had, we all hopped in the car to visit Ocean Shores.
Finger's and toe's crossed that this beach vacation turns into a tradition.
