I've just returned from a week long work trip from New York. This would be my fourth trip to the city and I am finally feeling like I am able to navigate around and not get lost which is a big deal for me.
Most of the time was spent in hotel conference rooms but for the times I was able to go out I truly enjoyed the city. I ended up staying in a hotel in Times Square so I was around a bunch of the action but we were able to get out for some great meals a couple of times in the East Village. The two restaurants that I got to try were Palma and ACME. Both were very good and yet very different. On our way to ACME we were also able to catch a live taping of Sesame Street (Ethan was so jealous).
On my final day the weather decided to cooperate and I was able to walk to Central Park. There was a free concert going on in the middle of the park and lucky for me, there was a cafe right by so I ate my meal while listening to some great music. A perfect end to a New York adventure.
