This past weekend flew by like a blur. We had Easter festivities both days and the most beautiful weather to accompany it. On Saturday after soccer we headed out to the Snoqualmie Ice Cream Easter egg hunt. I think the whole town of Snohomish showed up for it. We will definitely be back again for the ice cream (the egg hunt was another story :(). Then we were off to Jeff's mom's house to go on another egg hunt and have dinner. Ethan had a blast hanging with his cousins and made out with a ton of candy.
On Easter Sunday, the bunny paid us a visit and left our house with even more candy. Then we had family over for dinner and enjoyed the sunshine. I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter!

Easter hopped on by...
This last weekend we celebrated Easter with a neighborhood egg hunt followed by Easter egg coloring and painting. Grandma Mary was able to come down and join in the festivities as well.
On Sunday morning the Easter bunny made a special visit to Ethan bringing him a basket of Thomas toys and fun things to play with. He also dropped off some goodies for Jeff and I too.
Ethan's daycare also sent home trees with each child for Earth Day this year to plant in the yard. Ethan got to pick out the spot and he chose the side of our house in our vegetable garden. Let's hope that it grows into a big tree.

Easter Egg Decorating...
After dinner last night we decided to pull out the hard boiled eggs for a Easter egg decorating extravaganza. This year Ethan got to pick the colors to dip the eggs into and then he got to paint the eggs with sparkle paint. He really enjoyed painting the eggs, especially telling us what color he wanted to paint them and what color egg he wanted to paint. As you can see from the pictures he had to go shirtless since he likes to make a big mess. He REALLY gets into the coloring.
Plus, Ethan got a new balloon when we went grocery shopping. It's name is funny and he really liked it.
What Easter activities are you doing? We have a couple of egg hunts to go to and our visiting family for Easter dinners.
Here are a few pictures from our neighborhood Easter egg hunt that we had. Luckily they had a seperate area for the little kids and with only three little kids being there Ethan made out like a bandit. He even got a huge tube of play-doh. It was definitely a lot more fun watching him this year since he now knows how to do an Easter egg hunt.
