Evergreen State Fair

The sun was out in Seattle and Jeff was off to PAX so I decided to go ahead and take the afternoon off from work and took Ethan to meet up with my dad and Jackie at the Evergreen State Fair. It was the perfect day to go since there was not to much of a crowd and the weather was just right. Ethan had a great time eating the huge brick of french fries and going on the rides. He also got to go on a Pony ride and pet some animals. He was especially excited when he received a balloon sword and a lollipop (thanks Jackie).

Heat Wave

With the nice weather comes the hot weather. Thankfully we purchased some airconditioners to combat this from last year and finally brought them out today. We did enjoy some sprinkler fun though in the backyard and had a blast washing out tools and watering the flowers. And on another note...

Happy Birthday Jeff!!!

Summer has arrived...

Summer finally decided to show up in full force which usually occurs after the fourth of July in the Pacific Northwest. The flowers in our yard are in full bloom and we are spending more time outdoors enjoying this fantastic weather. We also booked our Disneyland trip for the end of October that we are very excited about. This is Ethan's first trip there and he is very excited to visit with Mickey Mouse.

Summer fun...

We finally got some nice weather over the weekend so I was able to get out the bike trailer I purchased awhile ago and put it together. Ethan watched in anticipation while I built it and then was very eager to get inside. Once he was in and we rode around the neighborhood a few times it was hard to get him out since he was having so much fun. I had installed it on my beach cruiser that has no gears so I could only go on the flat parts. I think the next step is to hook it to my mountain bike and go for a long ride and a picnic at the park in the near future when the sun decides to come back. Below is a photo of our test run.
